Blogs are hard to keep up!

Ok well we cannot delay this posting anymore. Through a series of events it has been very difficult to upload our digital pictures so those will be coming very soon so that you can 'visually' see what is happening.

Well here are the major updates:

1. We bought a townhouse in Orlando! Yep - it was a rollercoaster of emotions and a difficult process but with God's grace and the amazing help from Brian's parents we were able to buy a 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2000 square feet townhouse right across the street from Campus Crusade (LITERALLY!). It is new construction and has never been lived in and is definitely better then we could have ever imagined. But with a new construction home it does take a lot of work to get it to homey and comfortable. We are almost done with getting the baby's room ready and Brian has put together most of the furniture pieces that we bought. This past weekend we finally set up the computer so we have internet at home and we installed the master bedroom ceiling fan and painted our room as well. Overall we're about 80% settled and organized so we have a few more boxes to put away and A LOT of painting, but we've made a lot of progress in just a few weeks. We couldn't have asked for better timing and a smoother transition before the baby comes.

2. Delia is now 39 1/2 weeks pregnant and her due date is just 3 days away! She has another follow-up appointment with her midwife today to check on things but every appointment she has is a good one. Both Delia and the baby's blood pressure and heart rate are perfect and Delia's iron and calcium levels are above average so both mom and baby are doing great! We are anticipating the new arrival to our family and have been thankful for these extra days that we've had to prepare and get more settled in our home. Please continue to pray for Delia during the labor and for the health of both her and the baby. We will make sure to update our blog with pictures of the new arrival ASAP - this time, I promise!!

3. Brian's job is still going great. This is a really busy time for him now since he is currently working on renewing all of the corporate Campus Crusade insurance policies. It takes a lot of gathering information and reporting it to the insurance companies accurately and timely in order to meet all of the deadlines (sort of a bad time to have a baby huh?) :) This is in addition to his normal busy work especially during the summer months when a lot of summer mission trips are going on and he does SOS (evacuation insurance) and Project Medical insurance for all those going on the trips as well.

We continue to be blessed and thankful for how God is meeting all of our needs here in our new home. We know that God has directed us here for a reason and we continue to have a peace that we made the right decision.

Stay tuned for pictures of our townhouse and of Delia during her last days of pregnancy....
